Role Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Orthopaedic Practitioner with a current British Casting Certificate (BCC) to gain experience working in the Plaster room, based in Fracture clinic RDUH-Eastern site.

The practitioner will be covering Maternity leave within the department, and this position is a fixed term contract, offering full time hours until //7.

The Plaster room provides a comprehensive casting service to Fracture clinic, in addition to a 'same day' service to other areas within the Trust, such as Plastics and Orthopaedic ward patients. 

The Plaster room also runs a specialist Diabetic high risk casting clinic once a week, with the Podiatry and Foot & Ankle Team. This provides an excellent opportunity to apply Total Contact Casts (TC...
