Oracle DBA

Application DBA Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining database structures with high-level security features
• Strong PL/SQL experience and guide the team on Oracle PLSQL best practices
• Performance tuning SQL and processes
• Setting up database user accounts and maintaining/controlling user access
• Creating autonomous database backups
• Updating the database security protocols while working with other DBAs
• Monitoring and maintaining Oracle environments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Participate in on-call rotation

Database Administrator Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in computer engineering or computer science
• 5+ years experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Proven knowledge of DDL, DCL, and DML
• Familiarity with Oracle database design, PL/SQL, and documentation
