Job Description
This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2-4 days/ week)
Typical Day in Role:
- Provide on-site database and system support
- Monitor the system, and act upon system and application automated alerts
- Plan and perform IBM software and database installation, configuration, upgrade and patching
- Perform and manage IBM application backups
Must have skills:
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of recent experience as Senior Oracle DBA
- 2 years of recent experience with IBM Guardium is critical for the role
- Strong knowledge of Database Advanced Security
Nice to have:
- 3+ years of experience with Ansible Automation experience
- 2+ years of experience with Exadata
- 2+ years of experience with MySQL2+ years of Oracle OEM experience
- Previous exp with Top banks/FI is nice to have
