Oracle Database Administrator

The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and supporting Oracle database systems, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance. The role involves working with RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and cloud-based Oracle environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Perform database installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations across platforms.
• Design and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and third-party tools.
• Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance.
• Provide L2/L3/L4 support, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes for critical issues.
• Work with cloud-based Oracle deployments (OCI, AWS RDS for Oracle).
• Maintain detailed documentation and follow best practices for database management.
