Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Eastleigh

Employment Type: Full time (Contract Type: Permanent)

Shift Pattern: Days, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Perform eye examinations and contact lens fittings.
  • Carry out extended service examinations under NHS contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching and maintain departmental standards.
  • Assist in the supervision of students (optional).
  • Provide clinical support and expert advice to customers and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
  • Registered performer with NHS area team or health board: MECs or WECs accreditation (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining, funded and supported by Asda)...
