Job Description

Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for transmission line projects, including:

  • Plan and profile drawings.
  • Tower spotting and conductor sag-tension analysis.
  • Structure design and selection.
  • Use line design software to perform mechanical loading analysis and conductor clearances.
  • Conduct route surveys and review geotechnical reports for foundation recommendations.
  • Generate material take-offs (MTO), bill of quantities (BOQ), and design reports.
  • Support the preparation of technical specifications and datasheets for line components (conductors, insulators, hardware, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Civil, and Electrical Design teams for alignment and interface management.
  • Review vendor and contractor submissions for technical compliance.
