**Description:**
You will be the Optical Engineer for our Electro-Optical Systems team. Our team is responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing complex optical designs in EO systems, including military fire control, missile, and laser systems.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Optical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative optical system concepts, layouts, and detailed designs. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting research and development to improve manufacturing, integration, and alignment processes for EO systems
• Troubleshooting system hardware issues and applying knowledge of geometrical and physical optics to resolve problems
• Developing and maintaining optical system designs using optical design codes like CodeV
• Supporting subcontractor improvements, program cost reduction activities, and optics-related manufacturing producibility or cost savings initiatives
