Job Description

At Gixel our goal is to explore, innovate and design a novel next generation augmented reality experience. We are looking for skilled and motivated Optical Engineers to join our optics team in Karlsruhe. Based on your expertise and your passion, you may work on one or more areas from the following:

  • viewing optics
  • optical systems
  • display optics
  • optical characterisation and
  • optical fabrication processes

    • You will work on the end-to-end product development cycle including concept, design, development, and integration of those optical components or systems. You will also work cross functionally to develop specifications and test methods, perform performance evaluation and work closely with manufacturing partners for prototyping and mass production.
