FYi Doctors Calgary – Mission Square clinic is looking for an Optical Associate to fill an existing vacancy. This part‑time role works 20‑29 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, assist with frame selection to ensure optimal value, quality, aesthetics, and performance.
• Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist.
• Perform frame and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear, and make repairs and adjustments.
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescription printouts.
• Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and process contact lens orders.
