At LASIK MD, an entity of Vision Group, we seek a dedicated Registered Nurse for our surgical team. The ideal candidate has nursing credentials, BLS certification, and ideally experience in ophthalmology. You’ll have the rewarding task of preparing patients for surgery and providing essential care during recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients efficiently for surgical procedures
• Provide excellent care in the recovery area
• Maintain crash cart and emergency supplies
• Assist the surgical team with patient flow
• Update medical records accurately in EMR systems
Requirements:
• Accredited nursing education and registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
