Operator – Water Services

Job Overview

As a Water Services Operator you Take Care of Banff by ensuring the quality of our water and wastewater systems is exceptional. Your work will help keep our town’s water supply clean and safe for residents, business owners, and contractors who rely on that infrastructure.

Responsibilities

In this role, your daily work will directly impact our community’s health and safety.

• Operate, maintain, and repair the potable water distribution system, pump stations, and wastewater collection systems.
• Monitor and sample water quality, flush hydrants, and jet sanitary and storm sewer lines; respond to system alarms.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pumps, valves, hydrants, and lift stations to ensure peak performance.
