Operations Technician (Term)

Salary Range $48,840 - $73,266 per year ($23.48 - $35.23 per hour)

Job Status: Temporary Full-Time; Term up to a year with possibility of extension.

Position Summary

The Town of White City Operations Technician reports to the Town Foreman and ensures efficient operation and maintenance of all Town assets, including, but not limited to streets and roads, utilities, park areas, equipment, sewer and water infrastructure, all Public Works programs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Equipment operation and maintenance may include skid steer, trucks, tractors, snowplows, mowers, Zamboni, and small tools.
• Road maintenance including snow clearing, sanding, street sweeping, pothole repairs, and crack sealing
• Park maintenance including grass, flower beds, play structures, outdoor rink flooding and maintenance
