About AmpliAqua®
AmpliAqua® is a pre-commercial innovation unit for sustainable and circular aquaculture, based in Nazaré, Portugal. Our facility integrates freshwater and saltwater RAS, microalgae production in tubular bioreactors and raceways, and a ~300m² bioponics system. We support producers and agri-food startups in transitioning to circular production models — and we are building the digital and biological tools to make that transition possible at scale.
The Role
This is the operational and strategic leadership role at AmpliAqua. You connect the facility to the outside world — clients, funders, partners, and the wider aquaculture ecosystem. You ensure the operation runs smoothly, the team is coordinated, and the company is growing.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate the facility team and manage the operational calendar — maintenance schedules, production cycles, harvests, and partner visits
