About the role

We have an opportunity for an Operations Planner to join our Electricity Distribution team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role of the LV Operations Planner is to process Outage Applications and create planning operating instructions to provide safe and effective access to the Jemena Electrical Network, predominantly on the Low Voltage Network and High Voltage Spurs.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Manage Outage Applications and create OMS outage plans and switching instructions in Jemena systems
  • Ensure timely creation of switching instructions in line with operational procedures, standards, and KPIs
  • Conduct quality control and assurance to ensure compliance with operational requirements
  • Provide technical advice and training to colleagues and stakeholders on Outage Applications
  • Collaborate with various teams to minimize customer impact and improve system reliability while reducing costs
