Operations, Ocean Import

SUMMARY

The primary function of the Operations, Ocean Import is to process all ocean import shipments, coordinating the movement and monitoring while in route. The position requires handling of ocean import shipments from start to finish ensuring compliance with DSV policies as well as government regulations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and will provide the highest level of customer service and quality by efficiently processing all outbound requirements before or within agreed time frames. Direct communication with customers, overseas offices, carriers , warehouses and truckers is required.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily management and coordination of shipments 
• Establish and coordinate schedules with carriers and tender shipments
• Create, coordinate country specific documents
