Operations Manager – Mechanical Workshop

Overview

Oversee all workshop activities, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with safety standards. Manage work orders, communicate with customers regarding progress and changes, and contribute to the preparation of quotes. Develop and implement processes to achieve operational and business objectives. Track project costs, control expenditures against budget and recommend investments. Mentor, train and engage the workshop team, ensuring alignment with company policies. Stay informed of industry trends and propose improvements to processes and practices. Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards and promote a safe work environment. Maintain clear communication with customers and ensure timely delivery of projects. Promote the company's values and support community initiatives. Perform any other related duties.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, electrical or a related technical field.
