Position Summary

This role provides advanced technical operations to a variety of technical situations within the enterprise. Engineers have an emphasis on maintaining and managing enterprise infrastructure systems (networking and server / platform management.) Engineers are often involved in the design and implementation of new systems, provide advanced troubleshooting services, perform system administration duties, and affect the transfer of responsibilities from Infrastructure and Operations groups to front-line service entities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interacts with the ServiceDesk, infrastructure, management teams, end-users, development groups, and vendors to address issues escalating beyond Level 1 and Level 2 Support
  • Provides advanced technical subject matter expertise on desktop technologies including end-user applications, operating systems, hardware, and peripherals
