Position Summary

The Operations Finance Specialist serves as a key financial partner to Operations and the Business Unit. This role is responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, supporting inventory management, validating cost savings initiatives, and providing financial input to cross‑functional planning.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Support the development and execution of the annual operating budget and interim forecasts for the Operations function.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, scrap, rework, and material variances.
  • Prepare and explain monthly financial results, including actuals vs. budget/forecast.
  • Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.
