Operations Engineering - NPI

Responsibilities

• First line support during HoV build.
• Provide engineering assessment on issues stopping production during the run of a new product or program.
• Review and/or validate design manufacturability during design release and after BOM release to correct any escape that will impact manufacturing process continuity.
• Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
• Achieve day‑to‑day objectives with moderate impact on the work area.
• Work autonomously with limited supervision on higher, moderately complex projects or assignments.
• Communicate effectively within and outside the team to explain facts, policies, and practices related to the work area.
• Influence decision makers with recommended courses of action.
