Role Overview
Sonas Engineering (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly driven Operations Coordinator to manage subcontractor teams on large-scale smart meter installation projects.
This role is responsible for operational control, subcontractor performance management, productivity tracking, and ensuring compliance with rollout schedules.
Scope of Work
The Operations Coordinator will:
Field Operations Management
Manage multiple subcontractor companies and installation teams
Allocate daily targets and monitor productivity
Conduct site visits and performance inspections
Resolve operational and community-related challenges
Ensure adherence to client rollout plans
Performance & Quality Control
Monitor daily meters installed per team
Identify underperformance and implement corrective action
Conduct quality spot checks
Ensure compliance with installation standards
Reporting & Coordination
Coordinate with Project Director and Data Officer
