Responsibilities:
Participates and implements age specific care and interaction. Employee has attended departmental orientation (training) and annual inservice education for age specific training and implements in the work area what was learned in age specific training. Employee maintains current competencies and certifications . Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical errors. Correct Site Procedure; Correct Counts; Fire Safety checks; All Equipment and Supplies available and ready for patient procedure. Provides a sterile atmosphere before and during all surgical procedures. Instruments and supplies are opened following established procedures to maintain a sterile field.
