An Insight Global client is hiring an Operating Building Engineer for a 3-month contract to hire. This person manages work orders for HVAC with a heavy focus on troubleshooting chiller and boiler systems, while performing preventative maintence tasks in a warehouse/lab facility environment. They troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, conduct inspections, and respond to tenant service requests. Complete accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety regulations are essential. Collaboration with team members to improve building operations and efficiency is expected, alongside occasional overtime work. This role will be a shift of 9:30am – 6pm, with the potential to change by a few hours at a time. Overtime is possible and occasional on call work is potentially required.
