Shift: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm
Weekend rotation every third week.
We are seeking an Operating Engineer to join our team and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our warehouse refrigeration systems. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, including direct experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, and a commitment to health and safety in every aspect of the job.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and promote a culture where Health & Safety is the #1 priority, supporting department initiatives.
Perform daily checks on refrigeration equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
Conduct regular warehouse tours to confirm safety standards and support operations.
Follow preventative maintenance programs to minimize disruptions.
Monitor and adjust equipment to optimize utility costs.
