OPEN-CUT EXAMINER (OCE)

About the role 

The Bloomfield Group is seeking an experienced Open Cut Examiner to join the Production Team at Rix's Creek Mine. In this key operational role, you will champion a strong safety culture, provide clear direction to production crews, and support the delivery of safe and efficient mining operations. This position will initially be on a Monday to Friday night shift roster. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach and communicate with crews to ensure high standards of safety performance and adherence to mine plans, business systems and Group procedures
  • Conduct inspections of open cut mining areas, identify hazards, and effectively communicate and control risks
  • Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to relevant personnel on site
