Join Onex as a Fund Accountant focused on private equity in Toronto. This role combines financial analysis, compliance, and fund accounting responsibilities.
Reporting to the Director of Fund Operations, this position is critical for supporting private equity funds through accurate fund accounting and collaboration with various stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing transactions, and executing compliance deliverables for timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly and annual accounts for internal entities
• Review corporate processes during quarter-end and year-end
• Execute management fee calculations and accruals
• Liaise with auditors and support Fund Managers
• Oversee compliance reporting and performance calculations
Requirements:
• CPA preferred with a minimum of 3 years experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Canadian GAAP
