Job Description
The Oneida County Public Market Coordinator (OCPMC) will assist the supervisor with coordinating activities that grow the capacity of the Oneida County Public Market (OCPM) and developing new sales and marketing opportunities for farmers and small food producers in Oneida County.
The OCPMC will assist with the coordination of a more resilient food supply chain in Oneida County through the e-commerce site and the in-person farmers’ market. The individual will assist the supervisor in the coordination and implementation of activities and projects associated with the Oneida County Public Market. Activities and projects that support the OCPM will focus on sustaining and increasing market sales and in-person attendance at the market. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with Saturday market set-up and tear down, answering questions from vendors and customers, recording data, maintaining product inventories on the e-commerce site, scheduling promotion...
