Job Description

Occupying a 33 acre site on the edge of Henley‑on‑Thames, we are a co‑educational academy with approximately 900 pupils aged 11‑16 on roll.

We have been recognised as outstanding by Ofsted, and our academic standards are both high and improving. We achieved GCSE progress results in the top 10% of all schools in 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and are the top performing state secondary school in Oxfordshire in 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work one‑to‑one with a student with complex needs during lessons.
  • Support the student with any necessary interventions and provide lunchtime duty for 30 minutes.
  • Assist with communication and teaching support to maximise student achievement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • No experience necessary – full training will be provided.
  • Experience working in schools supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities is an advantage.
