Oncology Data Scientist — NLP, LLMs & Medical AI Research

Insel Gruppe in Bern is seeking a researcher/research assistant with a strong background in data modeling for oncology. The role involves developing and standardizing comprehensive data models, as well as automating data extraction and analysis using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).

The ideal candidate will hold an MD, M.Sc, or PhD and demonstrate dual expertise in data science and clinical workflows. This is a 2-year position with opportunities for extension, mentoring, and publication.
