Permanent Plumber – HMP Featherstone

Location: HMP Featherstone. Hours: 39 hours per week, rota‑based 07:45–16:45. 1 in 4 weekends on rota basis with 15% allowance of basic salary.

Base salary: £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Routine and non‑routine maintenance.
  • Mains water supply repairs.
  • Fault finding – identification of life‑expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
  • Experience in operating light plant.
  • Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience in a commercial environment.
