Job Description
Take on an exciting on-call Delivery Agent position with Canada Post in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Help deliver critical mail and packages as the community's connection to postal services.
As a temporary employee, you will be responsible for sorting and preparing deliveries at the depot and spending most of your day outdoors. A valid driver’s licence and a commitment to customer service are key for this role, along with the physical capability to lift and carry mail items.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and organize mail for daily deliveries
• Operate a Canada Post vehicle for deliveries
• Deliver packages and mail efficiently on your route
• Return to depot for unloading tasks
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving history
• Ability to lift and handle mail regularly
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Flexible availability for on-call duties
