Structural Designer- Offshore

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for structures including foundations, helidecks, and living quarters using AutoCAD, PDMS, or TEKLA.
  • Check designs for quality, safety, accessibility, and compliance with project standards and codes.
  • Create material take-offs (MTOs), review vendor drawings, and coordinate with teams across locations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship;
    5-7 years in offshore/oil & gas design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), TEKLA for 3D modeling.
  • Knowledge of industry standards like API and AISC for offshore facilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing drawing lists and project closeouts.
  • Ability to optimize designs for cost and schedule.
  • Familiarity with HSES policies and multi-project coordination.
