Job Description

We are presently recruiting for an Offset Printer for our clients in County Offaly. You will come with previous experience as a Printer, specifically of working and running Off-set printing press or web fed reel press. Full introductory training will be provided. This is a permanent position, based in County Offaly.

Duties:

  • Preparation of machine for printing i.e. organisation of plates, inks, board etc.

  • Management and review of job list to ensure all information is correct and jobs are ready for printing.

  • Achieve the colour and register.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed and information is correctly added in SME-UP.

  • Ensure waste is kept to minimum during production.

  • Ensure full line clearance is completed.

  • Carry out maintenance on the machine as per maintenance schedule.

  • Report faults or any issues which may impact production.
