About the Role
Up to full time hours available (38 hours per week)
The role of the Occupational Therapist is to provide therapeutic interventions, advice and education for clients referred to MHS. Services provided may include adapting yje environment, modifying tasks, teaching skills, education and accessing supports.
The OT may also be consulted as a subject matter expert by other MHS departments or committees.
As an OT at MHS, you will be working with a dynamic Allied Health team, providing Occupational Therapy Services across the organisation in the following settings:
- Acute Ward
- Community Health
- Residential Aged Care
- Social Support Groups
About You
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
Key Selection Criteria
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
* Knowledge and understanding of various funding streams and the available support programs available to people
