Occupational Therapist for Children

Join Side by Side Therapy as an Occupational Therapist and support children with Autism in Thornhill. This part-time role focuses on delivering at-home, evidence-based therapy interventions.
As an Independent Contractor, you will work mostly after school and on weekends, providing one-on-one care tailored to each child's unique needs. This position allows for flexible scheduling while making a meaningful impact on families during their therapy journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess children using standardized tools in home settings
• Create targeted treatment plans based on evidence
• Involve clients and their families in goal-setting
• Provide coaching to caregivers for enhanced support
• Measure progress and adapt interventions accordingly
Requirements:
• Proven experience with children diagnosed with Autism
• Current registration with the Ontario Occupational Therapy College
