Overview

Casual Occupational Therapist opening in Rocky Mountain Health Centre, Cranbrook, BC.

Days of work: Monday to Friday

Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00

Work arrangement: Casual shifts available five days a week on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients, develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans in accordance with CHCPBC standards.
  • Prescribe equipment and provide education and consultation to clients and their caregivers to support functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in the community care setting.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research, and education, while providing work direction to rehabilitation assistants to support safe and effective transfer of function.
