About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) on a temporary basis for one year.

Responsibilities

  • Provide rehabilitation to adults within the locality as in-patients, out-patients or in their own home.
  • Assess and treat a mixed caseload mainly older people with complex needs.
  • Work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in quality improvement work and service development.
  • Provide supervisory skills and student mentoring.
  • Occasionally work in other community hospital sites.
  • Provide regular supervision, support training opportunities, and PDP.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
