About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team (CRT) on a temporary basis for one year.
Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitation to adults within the locality as in-patients, out-patients or in their own home.
- Assess and treat a mixed caseload mainly older people with complex needs.
- Work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement work and service development.
- Provide supervisory skills and student mentoring.
- Occasionally work in other community hospital sites.
- Provide regular supervision, support training opportunities, and PDP.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registered with the HCPC.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
