• Competitive candidates for the position of occupational physician should:
Be board certified or board eligible in occupational medicine (preferred), internal, family, or emergency medicine (considered). Have at least three years' experience in occupational medicine (urgent and primary care experience may be acceptable). Be experienced in or willing to practice evidence-based occupational medicine in accordance with applicable laws. Be certified or become certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Be certified or become certified as a Medical Review Officer (MRO).
