Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner (OHNP)-Western Cape
Office-Based Position
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-employment medical examinations, drug and alcohol screening, and other health assessments
Perform return-to-work medicals, fitness-for-duty, and functional capacity assessments
Provide medical care and treatment during working hours
Conduct entry and exit medical examinations
Administer vaccinations and manage immunisation programmes (upon request)
Manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including treatment, follow-ups, and referrals
Complete Injury on Duty (IOD) documentation and related reports
Maintain confidential employee medical records
Keep all required occupational health and safety logs and documentation
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
Provide basic counselling or refer employees when necessary
