Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Island Health has a full-time vacancy available at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist.

Applicants will hold, or be eligible for, certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics & Gynecology and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

The successful candidate will participate in paid on-call coverage with 9 members (some of them part‑time) at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (356 acute‑care beds) providing services to an immediate population of 160,000 and a secondary referral population of over 350,000. The successful candidate will have approximately one OR day per week.
