Observability Engineer – Trading

Client: Elite FinTech

Compensation: $120,000 - $250,000 CAD + Bonus

Location: Toronto

Overview

My client are seeking an Engineer with strong Linux experience and expertise within the Observability space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Tools: Working with tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Grafana, Vector, ELK and AlertManager.
  • Linux: Operating within a Linux based environment.
  • Automation: Utilising Python where required.
  • Version Control: Working with Git.
  • Container Environments: Supporting environments where Kubernetes understanding is advantageous.

Requirements

  • Observability: Solid experience within the Observability space.
  • Linux: Strong Linux experience.
  • Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, Vector, ELK and AlertManager.
