- Ensure compliance with legislation, Safety Management System and Company procedures
- Provide visible safety leadership and promote a proactive safety culture
- Take charge of emergency response situations - real and simulated
- Lead and develop offshore teams, and support crew training and competence progression
- Ensure vessel is maintained and operated to fulfill its emergency support role
