Nutrition services provides meals, snacks and enteral feeding for inpatients, outpatients, day clinics and community clients.

Position Summary

The Nutrition Associate assists in all areas of Food Service operation. Primary duties include but are not limited to collecting patient meal selections; tray assembly; nourishment, enteral feeding and formula preparation; meal and nourishment delivery to patients; tray collection; diet changes; dishwashing; cleaning and customer service.

Schedule Work Hours

Days, weekends, afternoons, holidays

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent

  • Demonstrated skills developed through experience in efficient, hygienic, cleaning techniques and knowledge of the food production system

  • Physically capable of carrying out duties which may include heavy lifting
