Overview

Prospero Teaching seeks a caring teacher to run a Nurture Group within a specialist, vibrant and supportive secondary school based in Swinton. The role starts ASAP and may progress from temporary to permanent. The school serves students with SEMH and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑quality learning within a nurture‑based setting.
• Provide a personalised, relationship‑focused approach to education for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Create a safe, structured, and supportive environment that fosters confidence, resilience and positive learning habits.
• Manage behaviour and maintain positive classroom dynamics for students with social communication needs, emotional regulation difficulties and sensory processing differences, often associated with Autism.
