Responsibilities:
+ The Nursing Technician assists in the care of patients by performing various duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
+ Sets up and operates telemetry and electrocardiogram equipment.
+ Monitors cardiac rhythms and observes telemetry tracings for assigned patients.
+ Ensures monitor alarms are appropriately set and functioning.
+ Identifies and interprets cardiac rhythms, including normal and abnormal patterns.
+ Implements and reviews cardiac monitoring orders in collaboration with nursing staff...
