Nursing assistants offer companionship, listen to patients' concerns, and provide reassurance. They keep patient rooms and common areas clean, ensuring a safe and clean environment. Under the supervision of nurses, they assist with simple tasks like wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection, bowel and bladder care.
