Key Responsibilities



  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Curriculum for Wales (as applicable).




  • Use Welsh confidently with children throughout the day to encourage bilingual language development.




  • Assist with the supervision, care, and wellbeing of children aged 0-5.




  • Support children’s personal, social, emotional, and educational development.




  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety procedures.




  • Help with daily routines including meals, toileting, nappy changing, rest time, and outdoor play.




  • Observe and record children’s progress and share information with colleagues and parents/carers when required.
