Nursery Teaching Assistant

Nursery Assistant – Nursery & EYFS – Sutton

We are looking for caring and proactive individuals to support young children during their vital early stages of development in mainstream primary school settings, children’s centres and private nurseries across Sutton, South London.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support for pupils across Nursery and EYFS.
• Support pupils with mild to moderate SEND, helping them access the curriculum and develop confidence in learning.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to monitor pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Support the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
