Nursery Assistant - Nursery & EYFS - Croydon

Location: Croydon, South London

Start Date: June or September 2026

Contracts: Full-time and part-time opportunities available with flexible start dates

The Role

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis across Nursery and EYFS, including children with mild to moderate SEND.
  • Assist with learning through play, phonics, early communication and encourage social and emotional development.
  • Provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
  • Create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to monitor pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Support the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
