Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) for Siksika Health Services (SHS) plays a key role in delivering comprehensive primary care to members of the Siksika Nation. This position is responsible for managing a patient panel, providing same-day care, supporting patients of all ages, included but not limited to home care clients as well as postpartum mothers and infants. The NP will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to enhance access to timely, patient-centered care that reflects the values, and health priorities of the Siksika Nation.

The Nurse Practitioner will conduct assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and coordinate care across the continuum of services.
