Nurse Practitioner | Primary Care & MHSU

Position Summary

Interior Health is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner on a permanent basis in Castlegar, British Columbia. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care for all ages, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. The successful candidate will care for individuals unattached to a primary care provider or referred from the Health Connect Registry.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, the NB will deliver longitudinal, patient‑centered care. This is not an Opioid Agonist Treatment clinic, although OAT services may be provided. The role does not include outreach services but may involve partnership with outreach workers.

The NP will work alongside another NP, promoting collaboration within a supportive and dynamic environment. Opportunities include engaging with community agencies and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, culturally safe care.
